Silverwood Lake is an ideal location for camping. It is one of the very few camping facilities that
can accept our entire group. We have reserved side by side group sites which hold 100 people each. It is
also only 45 minutes away from church, thus it is feasible to come up for Sabbath only, so please come
up!
Directions to Silverwood Lake are: I-215 north (merging onto the I-15). Exit onto Highway 138
and head east (right hand turn). Travel east for 11 miles until you reach the Silverwood Lake exit. When
exiting turn right (lake/main entrance is to the left) and head towards the group camp sites. It will be on
the left hand side. You cannot see the campsite from the road but we will put up signs indicating where
to enter.
Once at campsite, you may pick any spot to set up tent. It is a first come first serve basis regarding
your tent location. Pathfinders will be setting up their tents more west and Adventurers towards the
east. RV’s will park in either parking lot. If the first parking lot is full, you will need to go around to the
other group site parking. Please don’t forget to check in and get a parking pass.
We will have sign up sheets for each meal. Please remember that we ask that each family sign up
for one meal throughout the weekend. Fridays meal is on your own, but then all three meals on Sabbath
and Sunday breakfast will be provided. All other supplies such as chairs for campsite, tents, toiletry
items, etc is the responsibility of each family.
Our itinerary includes check in Friday afternoon anytime after 3 pm. Sundown worship will occur
at 7 pm around campfire. (Please bring chairs to sit.) For those coming for Sabbath only, breakfast is at
8 and worship service will start at 10 am. Check out time on Sunday morning is by 11 am. I more thorough
schedule will be handed out when you check in.
Some other things to remember:
1. We serve lacto-ovo vegetarian meals: please make sure to bring along anything you might need for
any special dietary needs of your family members.
2. Bring helmets if you plan on riding bikes or scooters.
3. If you bring your own water bottle you will be able to refill with the bottled water we provide, thus lessening
the waste of used cups.
4. Restroom facilities have showers but you will need some quarters.

Directions - From the 405 or 22 Freeways, take the Bolsa Chica exit south to Warner Avenue. Turn right on Warner Avenue to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Turn left on PCH. The entrance will be on your right. Their physical address is 17851 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach.
