Remaining Adventurer Events for 2011-2012 year.
With so many Adventurer events coming up as well as changes to our original Adventurer schedule, I thought maybe a review of the upcoming events would be helpful.

1. No regular meeting Wednesday, May 2.

2. Investiture is Friday, May 4. Dinner at 5:30pm in Fellowship Hall/ Honor awards program at 7:00pm in the main sanctuary/ Clean up of Fellowship Hall to follow.

3. NO Doheny State Beach Vespers on Sabbath, May 4.

4. Wednesday, May 9 Adventurer Sabbath practice at 6:30pm in main sanctuary.

5. Adventurer Sabbath, May 12 for first service only. Adventurers should arrive by 8:30am/service starts at 9:00am.

Looking forward to an incredible Investiture service and meal this Friday.

Hello All,

With so many Adventurer events coming up as well as changes to our original Adventurer schedule, I thought maybe a review of the upcoming events would be helpful.

1. El Capitan State Beach Camp Out - Friday April 27 to Sunday April 29.

2. No regular meeting Wednesday, May 2.

3. Investiture is Friday, May 4. Dinner at 5:30pm in Fellowship Hall/ Honor awards program at 7:00pm in the main sanctuary/ Clean up of Fellowship Hall to follow.

Hello Adventurer Families,

Well it is almost here...Azure Hills Adventurer El Capitan Beach Camp Out.
Please look at and print the following campsite assignments. We have had to do some rearranging to accomidate all campers, so please check. Also when you get to the park, you will need to give the ranger the following information. Camp site and reservation name (for example, I will tell them camp site #123 and the reservation name is Smith). Please print a copy to bring with you or forward a copy to your smart phones so that you have this vital information when you arrive.

Greenspot Farms has been Cancelled

Hello Adventurers
We have been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for this Sunday. Most all our sources predict rain for that day. Therefore, we have decided to cancel the Greenspot Farms outing for Sunday March 25. If you have paid, we will issue refunds at the next Adventurer meeting.
We know that many of you are disappointed and we share your feelings regarding this cancellation.
We know that all things are under God's control, not our own. Let us always be thankful for His blessings, including the much needed rain for our area.
Hope that you all have a wonderful weekend and look forward to seeing each of you at the next Adventurer meeting, Wednesday April 4 at 6:30pm.

AzureHillsAdventurers : Post Message

Hi All,

As many of you know, we have a club member named Derek Page who has spent a large portion of the last year in the hospital. He continues to require chemotherapy treatments and is in fact at Loma Linda Children's Hospital today. We are forwarding a message that was sent to us by Claudette Sanders regarding much needed meals for the family while they care for Derek at the hospital. If you can serve in this regard, we urge you to contact her directly at the email address provided. Please do not reply to sender as it will go to the entire group.

Thank you all for everything that you do in making this a awesome Adventurer club.

Hello All.

I want to share with you what Heather Page recently said in an e-mail to me:

"The meals are especially helpful when Derek is in the hospital, because with Vince at work, I am there all day every day and every second night with no way to prepare meals for the family. Everyone’s generosity with us has been such a huge blessing."

So, in case you're wondering whether or not providing meals is a worthwhile ministry, try imagining how you'd handle having to feed your family when your priorities needed to be focused elsewhere.

With that, comes the invitation and opportunity to serve this dear family once again with the gift of a meal during Derek's next hospital stay, scheduled for next week. Dinnertime meals for 3 people are most appreciated.

Adventurer Greenspot Farms Activity Postponed

Hello Adventurers and Families,

The Adventurer activity at Greenspot Farms for this Sabbath, March 17 will be postponed due to inclement weather that has been forecast

for that day.

In the March newsletter, we had stated that we would try attempt to reschedule this event for Sabbath March 24. Due to possible conflicts with already scheduled practice for the Easter program that Sabbath, we have chosen to reschedule our Adventurer outing for Sunday, March 25 at 1:00pm. If we are unable to schedule this day or weather prohibits us once again, this activity will have to be cancelled.
